Highway 99 runs straight through the Central Valley, featuring locations that range from Lodi’s scenic wine country to Fresno’s eclectic urban flair. Bakersfield and two Bravo Farm locations are also off Highway 99.
Ride on 14 miles of track through Cali’s Gold Country, from West Sacramento to Woodland. This six-car passenger train offers events and activities like wine tastings, live music, and even theater performances.
You might want to see this one ASAP, because the trail lasts for three weeks before the flowers begin to fade. The Fresno County Blossom Trail is a 62-mile loop bursting with colorful spring blooms.
The Central Valley is the premier place in the state to spend a week away on a houseboat, making it one of the more luxurious options on our list of spring break activities. Instead of camping at a lake, live on the lake instead!
